So far ive upgraded the blowjax and 6 gallon tank to 2 viair 450s and 2 5 gallons. Also went from shaim cylinders to eai. Next I wanna up grade the valves Im running some from shaim there 3/8" 250psi and I have 1/2" line. Should I run 3/8 or a 1/2" valve? Ive been looking at gc and smc what would you pick? Also know any place that sells acumulators?? Thanks

Both brands are good. GC are cheaper than SMC. It doesn`t matter what size you run. It depends on how fast you want your setup.

Ive sold everything but the valves. But I may keep them to bag my hardbody. My setup before was pretty quick so I think Ill run with the gc 3/8" and save some money on them and not buyin new fittings. Another thing is I cant seem to find the fitting to go from my viair to my smc water seperator.

Youd just need either a 3/8" x 1/4" or a 1/2" x 1/4" reducer bushing, depending on which size water trap you got.

I personally prefer SMC. Ive used the 3/8 SMC many times and had minimal problems. I have 1/2 of the valves GC and 1/2 SMC on my c10, the GC were sticking right out of the box, they are louder, but slightly faster as well.
My SMC do stick sumthing fierce when the weather is below 20 degrees, so if cold is a issue for you, just a heads up. I have heard that the GC's have the same problem tho, but I have not tried them on my ford in the cold yet. I dont run a water separator.
Sui doors had the 3/8 SMC for 25 bux each at Indy and other shows im guessing, at that price I personally wouldnt go with anything else.

my $.02
