4 Runner Conversion Light Question

I installed a 4 Runner front end and the headlights are very dim. Anyone run into this problem, and is there a way to fix it??

my buddy had that problem when he did a pathfinder conversion on his hardbody. he ended up making a relay pack. 4 relays total (2 for high, 2 for low).
heres the schematic. the number on the left correspond to the numbers on te relay.
87 - fused heavy gauge primary wire from battery (12 gauge or so)
86 - ground
85 - factory wire from harness
30 - head light
the factory wire from the harness will energize the realy when you turn your lights on, but will use the new heavier duty lighting circuit you just built. i can post a pic later after class if you need it.

you shouldnt have to do that on a yota. i had the 4runner front end on my yota and i didnt have any problems like that. did you get the correct plugs for the lights?

stock bulbs just suck
