I'm hopeing to get some help. I have two Viair 380's and i keep blowing the fuse going to both of them. The fuse is a 60 amp. I have one 8 guage power wire going to a solenoid to where the two compressors are hooked up to. I have had my truck bagged for about 8 months now and have never blown through any fuses. I went through 6 fuses over the weekend!!! I checked out the wires and they look good. No rips or anything. So i disconnected one of the compressors and only ran one compressor on a 50 amp fuse and it hasnt popped yet. The only thing that i can think of is that the wires from the compressors that go through the bed floor are frayed and are grounding out. I havent got a chance to get up under there and check it out. Has anybody else had this problem??? Also, could it be that i need a high output alternater. I have a yellowtop Optima and have one amp in the cab, but my headlights dont dim or anything. If anybody could shout out some help i would appreciate it!!!

probably grounding out,put a grommet in the floor where the wires go through. It doesnt need another alternator,if you were having voltage problems you would draw less power and shouldnt blow fuses.Try rewiring compressors for a week just jimmy rigged so you can see the wires.
