some newbie help

hey i got a 04 aveo....i wanna wrap my seats with vinyl, please somebody give me step by step instructions on how i would do this......ive never touched interior so i dont know shit.....please help!!!!thanx guys

if youve never messed with interior go to somebody like katzkin and get a kit they can do leather or vinyl and you got it stiched and ready to go. all different colors also. check them out.

LOL i wanna do it myself so im not paying out my ass for some interior.....and my aveo is the 4 door sedan not the hatch or wagon.....ill have pics next week.....plus the vinyl i wanna do is a black leather look and a blue sparkly old school vinyl.....

i will tell you like anyone that does interior vinyl is probably the hardest material to work with. if you have never done this then maybe you should start with something more forgiving like tweed. one way you can do it is take your seat material apart at the stitches lay out your pieces face down trace and cut your vinyl to fit then put that in a sewing machine and follow the factory stitches from the back. hope you know how to work a sewing machine and you need to get a industrial sewing machine not a singer. good luck and are you draggin that car????
