I'm on hold for some retard to tell me something I already know. So much for my support contract.

I am an ex dell employee and now I know why my customers were so pissed.

yeah dell sucks ass on the tech support,bunch of chinese people answer when i call,can't understand shit they say,lol,and the funny thing is on the commercials they have white or black people that speak very well and clear english

freakin amazing......

Dell's motto should be
"we suck,,,we just a little less and have more marketing dollars."

I've pretty much decided that all you get when you offshore your customer service function is pissed off customers!

I used to provide tech support for Dell through a company. All home users get directed to the overseas phones and only the business accounts get to speak to Americans. If you want to understand your tech support then either make up a phony company name when you buy your computer or go with Gateway, supposedly they use American tech support.
