i'm running two firestone comps. both get hot but one gets way too hot. is this a sign they are crapping out and if so can you rebuild a firestone comp. thanks for any help.

get ur self some viair compressors..... they run like a champ. how long do they usually run for???

thats why.... i run my viair 450 for about 2 minutes after i pick my car off the ground and it puts me back to 160psi from about 130psi. If i ran the old viair for 15 minutes im sure I could make some eggs on that fucker too

Well I have 4 thomas 315s and they get very hot LOL I gotta get me some Viairs or try a EDC soon.. 10-15 sounds about normal for them to get so hot like that.. for now, watch out for the lines melting. If you need help getting a new compressor or 2 let me know.

and don't forget, the hotter they get the more condensation they're making, bad!!!!!

yeah it keeps blowing the line coming out the comp.

Well ill tell u how good viair is, My buddy had a viair bout 2-1/2 years ago, it wasnt taken care of sit out in the snow, rain. it was run to much way overrun, so i bought it from him, ive had it for 2 years now and it still runs like a champ, of course not as good as it did but still good..
