wondering if any one has any type of info on what might be involved on laying frame with the front suspension on the new body style f-150s.

i need to figure out if i need to have custom arms made or if i can just rais the upper arms???????

i have heard that you cant weld on the new f-150 frame b/c the way they are built

Alot of the newer trucks are like that now. The chevys started that in 1999. The frames are hydroformed or something like that, supposedly when you weld on them it actually makes the frame weaker. You ever notice on alot of the lifted new trucks (the huge ones that are bagged and linked) that the center drop down frame cage is bolted on, as well as all the mounts for the shocks and bags? Pretty much every "big" truck at SEMA was like that.

i was wondering about that, i dont know what has to be done about that. the frames can be welded on. i have seen them welded on before with no problems.
