no sound from amp

my amp is powered up and everythign and all the lights come on but the amp has no sound..??? i have no idea because nohting is burened up and there are no blemishes on the circuit board, it just shut off one day in the middle of a song not turned up or anyhitng and the amp has low hours...any help please.

holy shit your amp was making sounds, i would call guinness book of workd records and report the worlds only sound producing amp.





1.) check ground
2.) check imput
3.) check subs becuse they make sound not amps

Check the RCA's.

check the deck itself because the wires run form there to the mp then to the speakers and i acidently pulled my sound to my deck before i got my consol in and it did the same thing then i touched the wire were i pulled it and it worked

check the remote wire from the deck.

i already checked all the obvious stuff...i hooked the amp up to another working perfectl system and it didnt do shit....and i hook a different amp on my system and everythign was perfect leading me to believe that the problem is somewhere in the amp...i am trying to figure out if the amp can be fixed and how would i go about doing that...i dont think the amp is blown so any input is greatly appreciated..

probably burned out the amp from putting it in a hot place. you dont have to play loud music to burn up the amp.

was it in a cool place?

it wasnt in a hot place and the radio was barley ever turned up and usually the bass was off anyway.. i really dont think it burned up because there would be some sign of that either you could see somethign on the circuit board or at leaste smell somehting and i took it all apart and didnt see any of that...its really kinda weird.

ok im having probs with my system it worked on the way to the court house but geting back in to my truck from there i got sound then it fade out like lose of power my amp has power to it but my green light inst on my power cap doesnt light up and all my fuses r good and my wireing i double check could my power cap be bad
