ive been helping my brother build his 01 s10 single cab 5 peed we put in a fuel cell and thats reallt the only major mod done to it and now it wont start it has no spark and all fuses are good any ideas? also we've lost the passenger airbag on off switch i dont know if that matters. oh btw its a 2.2L

is the wiring harness grounded at the back of the frame?
lowboy msports   +1y
that is assuming you took the bed off to get to the pump instead of droping the tank.

yes we did and i made sure to grind all the pain off the frame to ensure a good ground

If your sure its no spark check the coil pack if not tkae the plug wires off one by one and try and start it to see if they are sparking there is also a fuel pump relay i nteh glove box its the one all teh way left it will not start if that relay is bad i had a lot of problems when i changed my fuel pump the first time with that relay the middle one is the horn just switch them around and see if that works

i may have the same problem, except i haven't replaced the fuel pump. in the morning my engine cranks and runs but then loses gas and stalls. the engine then cranks but doesn't turn over. i put in new plugs, distributor cap and rotor and took it to chevy for a recall (install foam sleave on distributor) - Note: this was before the engine trouble. has anyone had this problem and if so is it the fuel pump or the distributor?? i have a new AC Delco pump and OEM distributor but not the time to do it myself. thanks guys.

Did you check the module it may not be good.
It is in the distributor
