i need to know what to do!

Ok, see the truck at the bottom, well now it lays out pretty hard, whats happenng is my rear tires are bottoming out in the rear fenders, im perfectly cool with just cutting the top of the fender out and letting it stick through, should i? im running a 295/40-20 on the back and was thinking of going to a 255/35-20, will that make a big differance i need about an inch to 2 inches more, i know i can just raise the back a little so it doesnt rub, but that undermines all the work i did to get it to lay rocker, just want to see hat you guys think, im probally still going to cut em

the 295/40/20 is 29.7" tall.

a 255/35/20 is 27.0" tall.

If I were you I would get a regular box or yes get the smaller tires ,I think pirelli even makes a 225/30r20

no to cuttin the fenders so the wheels stick thru!! get the smaller tires, see how that works out, then if u still need a little more room re-work the fenders to get the room u need.

those diminsions? will it change any with the width of the rim, the rear are 9 inches wide, if i can get a tire thats about an inch or two narrower and about 2 inches shorter it will clear, 255 is about as narrow as i want to go i have traction problems (i.e.- 400 hp..its fun)

What size tire do you have up front?

If the 8" front has 255/35/20 then the 9.5" rear is best matched with a 285/30/20.

If the 8" front has 245/40/20 then the 9.5" rear is best matched with a 275/35/20.

the front is a 8.5 with 245/40-20 they clear fine im just wondering about the rear

do the outer fenders unbolt from the box? i was thinking about this the other night. if they do, id just unbolt them for now so you can drive that thing! then look into different tires and/or reworking the fender. but i wouldnt just hack out a hole. truck looks too good for that.

If they are Eagle and of course have the stepped lip hoop design, then they are available in 20x8" and 20x9.5" only. The 245/40/20 would be best matched with a 275/35/20 for the rear which is 10.82" wide and 27.57" tall vs. your current 295/40/20 which is 11.61" wide and 29.29" tall.

End result is approx .395" clearance on width into the fender and a loss of approx 1.72" of overall height.

damn, thanks bro, its gonna be close, i tried callin you bryan, i drove my truck out to ocala saturday night, it got alot of attention, except for some dude with hyrdos kept drivin around pullin 3 wheel, i still need to get the front aligned and ive got a roller rocker tappin pretty bad, but i still drove it.
