Before I asked about the what needed to be done to the front of a 93 chevy silverado to lay frame, thanks for all the help. Now i am on to the back. What is going to be needed to get it to lay frame. I already have the back bagged but it was done for 17" rims. So there is only a notch that only removes half the frame. Think its called a C-notch. Sorry for not knowing real name, makes me sound really stupid. Any way. The 22s are touching the inside fender wells right now. What do i need to do to get it to lay. I know i need a bigger notch. How big should I go. I was thinking about getting a bigger on then i need incase I get 24's some time. Do i just put in a bigger notch and cut the bed and it will lay or do i need to notch or move any of the crossmembers. Will the gas tank be to low? I heard someone talk about shortening the rear end do i need to do that? Any help will be great. Thanks alot.

when i laid my old 95 out on 22s i replaced the fenders with trailer fenders and also used a 10 inch notch and had to notch a small section on the cab and gas tank crossmember for the driveshaft

Always check the offset of the rim. I didn't and jumped into buying some 22's with a +10 offset. I had to get a narrower rearend. I picked mine up out of a cop car caprice. You could just get yours narrowed, but getting a rearend out of a caprice is alot cheaper. As far as the 24's go, I don't know if the caprice rearend would work. I'd probably go a couple inches narrower for the 24's.
Moving on to the bed. You could just body drop the bed so you don't have a cut up haggard bed. You could also get wheel tubs from www.suicidedoors.com or just get trailer fenders.
The notch... If you think that you might go with 24's one day, try to pick up a larger notch. You could also subframe your truck.
The gas tank does hang a little low, too. A quick solution is to get one out of a tahoe, yukon, or suburban. They all mount in the back.
Hope this helps.

I think the offset is like +18 or +20 something like that

10 inch notch, some tubs, 4-link, notch out the gas tank x-member and back of the cab and its there.

depending on if you body drop the truck then you will probably have to narrow the axle, you will definately have to with the 24's and a body drop.A large step notch of 10 or so inches will help too of course

If i just wanted to go with the 22s what would I have to do. What size notch should I use. Would I have to still notch the cad if so is it still just the part where the floor meets the back of cab. Thanks so far for your help.
