73 to 89 front end swap

i have a 73 c-10 and a 89 suburban and was wondering how hard it would be to put the buran clip on the 73?

should just bolt up but you have to do fenders and all

I pulled both clips off and the fenders and core support look like they bolt right on but what about the hood and cowl. THe 73 hood and cowl are one piece with old style hinges and the burban hood hinges are smaller with supports the bolt to the cab cowl. Any help please?

the cowl i dont remember if its the same BUT all you have to do is unbolt the core support and the fenders from the body, lift it all off as one piece and do the swap, it all lines back up and bolts back on. With airtools and a couple of friends, you can do it in a couple of hours

okay the fenders,core support & grille pretty much bolted right on I just need to know what to do to mount the hood and it should be done does anyone know what to do about the hood hinges?

i put an 82 burban clip on a 79 i had and everything went right on.you just use the stock hood hinges.is the hood from the same front end?and you will have to get the kit to strengthen the hood so the hinges dont buckle it
