I just bought GC Xtreme 450 valves for my car and there is three places to plug the wires in, which one should be used for the positive wire and negative wire?

on the top of the valve there is a G for ground and C for constant(possitive)

you dont need the bottom prong though

Anyone know what these famous un-used prongs are originally for? Do they have some purpose? Just wondering because I've seen them on many valves..

iv tried it,but didnt do anything.some say that it makes the valve respond quiker, but i did see any diff.but that i know of,it dont do anything that benifits us.mabye on the "industrial" type valves, theyre there for a reason.

What about being there to ground all the valves together in a loop?

Its a ground... Simple as that... you can run the wire that would ground the valve to the 3rd prong and it will ground out through the valve. It relaly doenst make any performance differences or anything just an option. It will only work if the valve is grounded though, as in the metal mounting bracket that is bolted to the valve is bvolted to the frame or another good ground...
