v6 buick engine

hi guys, im looking for some information on the buick 3.8l v6 engines. In australia we have them in our commodores. I have put one in my hilux and im after some after market parts, and perfromance parts. Im unsure what year models they come in and the names. Mine is a VP engine i was wondering what this engine is called over here in the states?

what year? it looks like a series 1 buick 3800 motor only with the intake flipped for rwd applications. Some came with factory superchargers .
