cops havin nothin better to do...

I got pulled over for my windows!! granted.. they are blacked out... but.. the problem i'm having is how the cop went out of his way to get me!!! he was going the opposite direction flipped a bit(h, cut off 3 people and was speeding, all through a school zone! at 730am with kids everywhere!!! the BPD really has nothing better to do! he just saw some "kid" with a sports car and wanted to give me crap. there is so much other stuff goin on yet he has nothin better to do then pull someone over for blacked out windows!? hmph! i don't see why they are illegal anyways at least the cop was cool about it!

anyone have a cop go out of their way just to get to them??

are you kidding me? i was sitting in my car at the store the other day.. car wasnt even running and a cop came up to me and starting giving me shit... i ended up getting my car towed that night.... so... FTP!

I would of said, look at your car but you don't have pics. Welcome to the custom world, esp. the import one! I know you drive a Dodge but you are in the "import" scene.. If you do have blacked out windows then you can GUARANTEE that every cop you see will mess with you.. I used to have a problem with it untill I took all of my tint off. Now I haven't been pulled over since..(knock on wood)

seth - are you serious?!?! were you on private property? they can't tow it if you were in front of a store! i thought they weren't able to do anything when you're on private property?!?! why did he tow your car? for sh*ts and giggles?

Steven - yeah i know i'm a guarantee ticket with those windows.. you can't see ANYTHING inside my car.. but it just looks so much better!!!! i'll have pictures of my car up soon.. i took some, but didn't turn out well. i'll post some this weekend. hopefully one of my 'sheriff friends' will sign the ticket off for me although i did have a run of luck.. my boyfriend got it done for me about 3months ago.. and this was the first problem i had!

That sucks! Almost every BPD guy who comes into AutoCrafters says that as long as it's not dark they don't care. So unfortnately it seems you met that cops wrath.

Sucks to hear, but I do think there are worse things they could worry about, like not causing an accident for a fix-a-ticket.

yep! that's what i'm talking about! cops, esp BPD, are nothin but donut eatin fu(kfaces! like i said.. i know they are blacked out and i'm a ticket waiting to happen. but come on! what he did was ridiculous! he broke more laws then me!! and those wouldn't be considered a fix it ticket!

If I told you how many times a cop has flipped a u-turn on the highway, drove over the center grass, cut off 4 cars doing 65-75 miles per hour just to pull me over to tell me I had clear blinkers/crooked plate/no front plate and that it was illegal...and then almost 90% of the time let me go with no ticket. My question always was why risk your/someone elses life just to give someone a no point ticket?

I dont think its that they are out to get you, but they have prolly been driving around alot and just seeing somebody with tinted windows or something out of the ordinary gives them a reason to stop driving around and do there job.

yeah... im serious haha... i was just sittin at the store (just got some beer) and the cop gave me hell.. and everything seemed legal but come to find out my town office messed up my regestration and thats why it got towed.. but no i have to go to court and shit.... but the tow truck ruined one of my z-3 fenders and put 2 reallllly bad scratches on my 19's... and yeah, i was on private property (a lil gas station) but they said its a "public way" and the cop never even saw me on the road at all... i even talked to a lawyer and the lawyer pritty much said i was fucked.. so ... that sucks haha

Me and my brother were goin home one night in his Honda, we had the music up but not to loud, well we pass a cop and its cool, then about 2 miles up the road he comes flying up behind us, turns his lights one, we pull into a bank parking lot,he gets out of the car and said "if I wasn't on a call I would right you a ticket", now if he was on a call, why would he take the time to chase us down just to say that to us, some cops are just dicks
