Im not familiar with aims pos parts, but are their brackets cups or flat plates?

I told him that and he seems to think its something else, he said hed try it if he has to but he doesnt think thats the problem, is there anything weird or different about these trucks, never done any work to one.

they are cups. his front suspension should be the same as yours. he was talking about making flat plates also but i told him i would ask on here to see what you guys have to say about it

Well you can do with either. I have flat plates up front on my truck. If hes running cups, he just needs to check where its bottoming out. Did he cut the spring pocket at all? Actually, here are two pics that should help out alot. Exact same set up that he wants to do and you can see what im talking about.

Hope it helps your friend.

awesome, i'll let him know, if i was there i could figure it out, but im not, he said he cut the spring pocket some but he doesnt want to go any farther because of the integrity of the frame. itold him to cut the cups but i dont think he will.
