If you bought some super duper turbo fuel pump, you probably are sticking your FPR open all the time and increasing the pressure in the rail, which increases the amount of gas injected each pulse of the injectors. This puts too much fuel in the cylinder to burn, causing a miss and some of it gets past the rings into the oil. More GPH isnt always a good thing, since the fuel gets to the injectors before the regulator, if the regulator is wide opena and fuel is still pumping in, its all going to go out the injectors.
But fix the miss, you could have a spark plug down or some other problem. The black smoke is a rich condition, and the oil will smell like gas from running too rich. Whatever you do, change the oil after you fix it, gas thins the oil and thats when wear happens.
