GMC c3 fullsize awd bagging???

ok i might be getting a gmc c3 wich is awd from my folks so thay can still use it when thay want but i can have a daily driver now that my srt-4 is mostly race and weekend toy. thing is i want to bagg it. i know the rear is the same as any 2wd and i plan on getting a kp bolt on 6-link setup but for it but the front i was told that i need to get shock hoops and i can then mount the bag between the shock hoop and the upper control arm and remove the tortion bars and of corse 2" drop spindels. will this work and also how will it lay out, does anything drag, do i need any new crossmembers to tuck things up. and if theres any pics of someones setup like this ples link me to them.
