Im in the process of putting on a billet steering wheel on my Taco but i cant figure out how to take out the clockspring. Anyone have any info on this??? i have the steering wheel off already. I have never done this before so any info will be greatly appreciated!...thanks in advance!

i didnt have to do anything tricky when i put the one on my 96..it had and airbag too..and i put the billet one on...took like 5 mins

did it have a clockspring??? if so how does it come out?

its the black round thing under the steering wheel that the connections go through to the steering wheel

unplug the harness for he clockspring which is at the base of the colum....take the 4 screws out of the housing and pull it off

What HE said and you will loose your turnsignal kickback and horn but no biggie there, i rewired my horn to my hood pisser button on the stick since i dont have washers. As for the turnsignal kickback, mine still actually works the majority of the time.

i guess i didnt pay much attention to it..all i did was take out the airbag module..my shit all still works..signals kickback and all
