on the bars. no doubt the best ride. over axle gives you limited lift and harsh ride unless you are hovering off of the ground.

the bags should be like me, all over the bars...

I can tell from experiance on the bars much better ride I had them on the axle and it was like I had no suspension.its much better with bags on the bars you can put them on the lower bars ( the way I got mine) or on the top bars check out some profiles get some ideas and pm the owners and get their opinion. thats what I did before we re did my suspension.

bags over the axle isnt that bad, unless you are like people who drive like they just installed a skyjacker lift on their truck..... i just lift to get into driveways and over roadkill...

Either on the bars or over the axle. Like cris said if ur not looking for alot of lift you can just put them over the axle.

Over the axle if they are sleeve bags, front of the axle if they are convoluted. If your running 2600 bags over the axle that's a 1:1 ratio so once the bag is inflated to it's designed ride height that's 5200 lbs of spring available, so a stiff ride. Sleeve type bags have a better spring rate for comfort in the rear if they are mounted 1:1. A convoluted bag will ride better on the bars because setup 2:1 or even 3:1 changes that capacity to about 2600 or 1700 for the pair with alot of lift.
