i have a 96 ranger 2wd 2.3L manual trans.
my fuel pump wont turn on with my harness anymore it just stopped as i was driving down the road this morning . theres 4 wires on the harness and 3 of them are stilll hooked to the factory harness but i had to hardwire the power wire to a 12v source to get it home. question is how do you know if a relay is bad and are the relays only hooked up to power? does it sound like a relay problem or what

yup thats a relay.4 wires are hooked up one is teh ground for the pump inside the tank.

so i just change the relays under the hood?

yea id try a new relay. either that or u have a short some were...
