Engine Help

Hello people, i need some help. I got a 2.9l, and i was wondering if a throttle body from a 5.0l would fit with a little mod. i think they are 65-70mm?. Also i was wondering if i could use any other heads to get a lil more juice from the 2.9. Any modifications or ideas would be greatly apprieciated.

not sure about swapping a TB from a 5.0 will work, but you can port the stock TB, i know alot of guys with LS1 camaros port their TBs b/c its cheaper than aftermarket ones..
you can port/polish your current head to increase andsmooth out the flow.

hi there trust me it is a lot cheaper to build a v8 and install it in a ranger than building a 2.9 theres not a lot of aftermarket parts for 2.9 and no matter what you spent on it a stock v8 is better i have a v8 ranger and just built a 2.9 for my broncoII 2.9 parts are getting hard to find there are tons of v8 stuff out there. just my 2 penny,s
