Personally, I don't use a fuel regulator. The PSI on the mechanical pumps (which I have) is just a smidge above recommended pressure. My float bowl does'nt overflow and or cause my engine to stall from flooding so I did'nt buy one.

i got a 32/36 and I hate it ... first one i got was jetted so badly i was checking fule out the tail pipe and re inserting in fuel tank it burned you eyes and ever cleaned out. the secnd one i got work ed ok with a ton of adjustment all the time but then the needle or something stuck and washed down my bottom end making noisey bearings that ehn lead to the discoverey of the wrong pistons in my freshly rebuilt bottome end. thinking i should get rid of it and return to stock.. i see you run mostly the 34 weber told me not to use that carb and go with the 32/36 are they wrong...i see alot of 34 's out there.

I've still got a Factory Nikki in my truck and there's only a couple of things hooked up to it.
1: accelerator cable.
2: Choke cable (not really needed though)
3: Fuel input hose
4: Vacuum timing hose
5: Fuel cut solenoid wire

And thats about it, everything else has been removed and plugged, and the engine runs just fine.

NB. We don't have emission regs here which kind of helps a lot though.
