this is in addition to the article in minitruckin magazine nov 07 issue. go through and follow the steps 1-6, step# 7 says to build a faceplate to mount the cylinder too. after trial and error, we found out that the minimum thickness for the faceplate needs to be atleast 3/16 even better would be 1/4 because of the force applied when the pedal is pushed down. continue to follow steps 8-10. what they dont show is how to mount the linkage system to the actual pedal. towards the top of the clutch pedal there is a hole. as dumb as it sounds even though it doesnt say. but the linkage has to be bolted and be able to move. if welded to the pedal it wont slide down the tubing correctly (lol) but other than that its pretty much follow along the rest of the article. one more thing to do that ofcourse they dont say is how to mount or run the actual reservoir, after calling sadistic iron werks they recommended that you pick up a clutch reservoir from a honda civic or similar. that has a mount you can bolt to the engine bay and run a line from to a 90 degree that you attach to the cylinder where the stock toyota reservoir container went. after a little trial and error it works pretty good. estimated build time including install 5hrs.
