dont have springs? is it 4x4? i believe the lowest you will be able to go by truning down the bars is about 3.5 -5" cause they dont make dropped spindles for 4wd that i know of.

4X4?!

Yeah, your "effed".

Like Bdy said, you might get a few inches outta her, but you're hosed if your gonna try to get her in the weeds.

Hell, if I were you, I'd sell it and get a 2wd.

Thats just my opinon, and you know what they say about those...

Thanks Guy's!

It is a 4 wheeler....I didn't know the spindles we're different on the 2 models.

I don't necesseraly want it on the ground. (I can hear my tiket out of the forums coming!!!) On the top of tires would be Ok for me as we do get snow up to the middle of the grill here.... Also as its my daily driver and occasionnal puller (for when the car will be done) or carrier for stuff around the house.

BDYDRPED, When you say i could drop it 3.5 - 5 ....That would be great!!!
( Well... 5")

Can i do that with the stock torsion keys or do i need aftermarket parts? What is the downside to running the keys in low mode? (there must be at least one...) How do i do that anyway? anything else to check afterwards?
What will dictate 3.5 to 5"...

what would you suggest i do with the rear then, a simple flip kit? with or without notch?

Thanks for your help!

Hey!!! Nobody commented on the "Fiberglass stuff" all over the truck...Does that mean you guy's dig that stuff ??? 'Cause its gonna be for sale then!!! (i don't)
(Altough it might make the truck higher from the loss of weight on the suspension....)

sell the fiberglass stuff to a chicano LOL(no racial offense meant casue we all know where thatll get us)

by turning down the keys that far you will have very lil suspension and be able to feel everything and itll be "spongey" feeling...... if you are gonna go that low i know beltech offers a kit for the 4 door tahoes, that if i remem right, lift the blocks up some so you can keep a decent amnount of tension on them but still run with em low.

in the rear i would say a 6 " flip with a small notch should be fine, then depending on how heavy a load you are gonna be pullin either helper bags or go ahead and fully bag it.

just fyi the spindles are defferent cause on 4x4 modles the driver axel for the wheels goes right through the center of the spindle. its really more of a "knuckle" than a spindle.

and nah you are more than welcome to stay on the forums, even if you arent pounding the pavement...... you should just sky that bitch out and make it a real 4x4 LOL

Thanks Man,

I'll check out that Tahoe kit. I spoke with Illegal Regal last night and he mentionned some about that kit too if i remember correctly. I'll feedback you on this.

I already have helpers in the rear...Its at least that!

I tought about sky'in it at some point (and i only had it 4 days!). 'Never know. But in my mind a Dually is meant to scrape.
