I have bought new uppers and lowers, made a new tranny crossmember, and built a new frame from the firewall back. Well I didn't really do any of that but that's all been done to my truck (thanks Ed) and now I'm still considering z-ing the frame to get it to lay hard on the body. So do yourself a favor and z the frame first and ask questions later.

May only be $100, but how much extra will it cost to redo the exaust since yours dosnt clear the exaust? Plus god only knows when they will get anything from you, probley out to what, December 06?

OUCH!! Damn Jon I cannot believe you said.......... Oh never mind I can.

Looks like you can get em from Mike at BYC, but from the way it reads you maybe waiting a while.

where else can i get some?

Speaking of Mike from BYC, I ordered a tranny x-member last Tuesday. UPS says it'll be here this Friday. Not bad for a totally custom, hand built part IMO.

the uninformed amuse me...

my trans x members clear the cat, thew long cats may need the mount bent up a bit to clear but no cost in doing so. I also have 2 in stock ready to ship.

the arms I have a set of lowers in stock, John A should have his lowers by now to tell of the quality.

the best way to achieve your goal of laying the frame is to Z it and also move the arm mounts up. this way you get proper camber when close to layed out and not the normal severe negative camber.
