well i dont drive my truck on a daily basis... But when I did, i never had any problems with it... maybe flare the end of the metal line just a little bit that way it will have something to kind of grab ahold of...

no you have to flare it a litl bit... but dont just put it on there... thats how i got mine hooked up to get it around the yard... but if you flare it a lil bit befor you put the clamp on you will be fine... I have a buddy with it liek tha and he has not had any problems and has been driving like that for a few years now and not the first problem yet..

dont put rubber over brake line, that is very VERY unsafe. there is ALOT of hydraulic pressure going through there. call up classictube.com send them your old rubber line you want made longer, tell them you want it longer and exactly out of that, and have it made out of stainless braided or even rubber for like 30-40 bucks. WELL WORTH IT, atleast this way you dont have to worry about it busting open. but do not go t hat route of putting rubber over brake hardline!
