I was thinking about doing this same thing only applying it to a body lift for a 4x4...great minds think alike i guess!

awsome ride, but the body drop and body lift while frame is on the ground has no point. yet still is sic as fuck. i would rock it.

theres a reason to bolt your body solidly to the frame with a noice bushing......

maybe its just me but aint that frame way too small? it looks like it would just bend and flex somethin fierce. and up front it looks damn near like a ninety degree angle with not even any gussets. I wouldnt trust that on the road at all

frame is far far from finished. its 3x3 1/4''wall.

will have alot of bracing, reinforcements and gussets.

has a collapsable steering shaft so i can drive it when its fully lifted.

right now just 4 of the 6 cylinders under the body are mounted to the frame and its very sturdy, fully lifted.

brakes are gonna have long stainless braided lines so there is slack when lifted.

right now i am getting 18'' of lift and my upper arms are not hitting the frame yet.

its an idea i have had for years.

for u guys that have a bd truck on huge wheels uknow how much of pain in the ass to drive.

you have to fully lift up your truck to make a turn and on crappy roads, making a turn fully lifted is horrible.

with the adjustable bd, i can have the body up 3-4 inches and the suspension up like 4-5 inches and make safe, comfortable turns on big wheels.
