yeap, thats it. i wish i could take credit for this reindition but my hands were not involved in it. all i contributed to it was maybe some of the ideasabout the underslung frame and jody and i had kicked around the idea of one bag. but for the most part this whole setup belongs to jody wilkerson. im not sure who did the graphics. the only part i had in the truck was back when the truck had reverse flames. roger had brought the truck to me and jody to rebuild the front bag setup. whoever had setup the bags to begin with had them rubbing on all sorts of stuff. jody and I sat down and re-engineered the bag setup and as far as i know the front end is still sitting on the same setup that jody and I built. hasnt needed anything that i know of.

wow that ranger has pretty much the worst setup ever. i hope you guys didnt "engineer" that. and twisted metal, isnt that the one that screwed a crapload of people, and their rides ended up in a junkyard?

well for one thing, how much "engineering" actually goes into most truck frames ? i didnt have a hand in the build of that frame that is all the work of a guy i used to be partners with and im sure roger, the owner had some input in it as well. i was sketchy about the single bag setup, but according to roger its great. says he doesnt notice any unfavorable characteristics at all.

nah twisted metal isnt the shop you are thinking about. there was a shop in alabama a few years ago that took in a bunch of work and then kinda dropped out of existance. this is sort of how jody(owner of twisted metal) and I came to do some buisness together. both of us having full time jobs and haveing too much work at home trying to balance everything was a major pita. jody sent his truck to this shop in ala. for some body work that was just too time consuming. well after the truck had been there for a few weeks the guy quit returning phone calls, then pretty much disapeared. supposedly the guy surfaced a few months later and supposedly had moved his shop, bt again quit returning calls. all the while jody's isuzu was missing in action and didnt have a correct location even of where it was. jody ended up having to make a trip to alabama, and find the truck, load it up and bring it home. it was in a pretty poor shape and far worse shape than when it went there. thats where i came in, and helped straighten up a lot of the damage. jody and I dont work together much anymore so i dont know the current state of his isuzu or of his buisness. as far as the setup he built on rogers truck, if he says itll work, i will stand behind him 100%.

and the shop owner you speak of would be Alan Cothran.

i dont know the name of the shop or its owner. i kinda got in on the tail end of the deal and never really knew the details.
it does seem like i remember that name now that you mention it.

twisted kustoms was the first name if i remember right. Then it was Metal Works in Decatur... I had several friends get screwed by alan, and heard too many stories to tell about others getting the shaft as well. Scary part is I ALMOST took my Blazer there lol.
Alans in Utah now last I heard...

yeh, on that ranger, the shocks would wanna be plenty stiff, or have a massive sway bar to be drivable. the roll would be incredible, but it would probably help with the pitch
