Seriously, though...that's pretty bad ass, Dude.
There's a bunch abandoned mines out in Calico out where we go wheelin'. I'm always blown away every time we go in one. Lots off cool stuff left behind, etc. Very cool.
Sometimes, my buddies turn out the lights and I get scared. I pee a little bit in my pants every time.

yeah i went to cali last year.and rehabed a mine that had been there since the earl 50's it was crazy the stuff they left behind,like they were working away one day went to surface and never came back i have a buch of cool stuff from that place.and the job i just finished the pics above are from there.is in northern idaho.we went on a tour when we first started and there were still muel barns on the upper levels for the late 40's its kinda crazy to think of all the guys that worked there ya know?

There's a bunch of places like that out in Calico. There's an old gravel crusher still out there in the middle of nowhere. Conveyer systems, old trucks, trailers, office trailers with furniture and documents still in the filing cabinets. Hell, there's even stock piles of colored rock left over.
It's just like you said: it looks like everyone left after their shift and never came back. Kinda creeps me out a little.

cool where at in idaho were you I dig those old places I would love to go to that place campy. are you going to take me
we use to go to a place in oregon that was a huge minning town and you get out in the woods and find all kinds of stuff some of the mines are still ran by family members you also find mines were there paper work is up to date but nothing has happen there in years

yeah i just finished a job at the gallena,in wallace idaho.the job i am going to monday is at the lucky friday in mullan idaho just up the road from the gallena,yeah i love northern idaho,comper it to nevada and the mines here.there are i think 25 diffrent mines here sureface and underground mining.but here all you are is a number to the company ya know? not to mention they pay good but nothing like a contractor makes.those are some sweet pics there campell!
