Okay i bet someone out there is pretty smart and can figure out this one, its pretty diffucult to understand, i dont even get it, but here it goes...
3 men walk into a hotel and they ask how much it would be for a room, the lady repiles $30, each man gives the woman $10 and thats the money for the room, then she remembers that its only $25 for the night so she takes 5 one dollar bills out of the drawer and hands one to each man and puts 2 in her pocket, so each man has only piad $9 a piece and take $9 times 3 men thats $27 dollars, plus the two in the ladys pocket is $29 where did the dollar go?
that may be relly hard to read and understand but i may be able to help you all through it...

easy they paid $9 each which is $27 $25 for the hotel and 2 for the lady and if you add the $1 each guy that would be $3 more $27+$3=$30 you dont add the $2 from the lady cuz thats in the $27

no, the room was $25 and they gave her $30 she gave them each $1 back and kept two dollars for herself, that would mean that the men paid $9 per person and 9x3=27 plus the two dollars in the ladys pocket will be 27=2+29 where did the dollar go?

Well, what if the men decided to give back the $1 each one of them got. 9 X 3= 27 +1+1+1=30, so there is an extra $ 2.00 in the lady's pocket.

here is how this goes. if each man paid 10 that is 30. if she gave them back each a dollar then that means they each paid 8.33 cause 30 minus the 5 refund is 25, 25 divided by 3 is not 9. its 8.33 so there is your other dollar. its hidden in the riddle thats worded wrong.

Actually your really close, its worded so that its with whole numbers but really there is change and smaller decimals because if you dive up $5 between 3 guys they each get like $1.66667 back, its all in the details, you gotta break up the whole numbers...
