Doug, I've got a big dent i need to fix too, can you send me some matching nailpolish so i can fix it? I'm going to try and clear it with hairspray too. I think last years christmas fruitcake should work as a nice filler even though it will probably sand pretty hard...

I actually did this back in the day using the Rustoleum spray cans on my '75 Plymouth Duster. It looked a lot better than the stock paint. Just took my time with the rattle cans and it didn't turn out half bad by the standards of those days.

Today... NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD DO IT...

That ryde wood be den be dun ful of kustumizashun. No, buy some real primer and a cheap gun and spray it. Primer is forgiving, and it would cost a lot to do it with cans, but it would be about as good as an idea as a horse with three legs running a race. It doesn't make sense.

my 67 chevy was rattle-canned flat black by the last owner, and looks great, just like the "suede" paint, i've even touched it up and you can't tell. i wouldn't even dare trying to do a glossy paint job though.

there was a tech article i saw in an import mag where they rattle-canned a subaru impreza(?) flat black, didn't look half bad in the pics.

yea to bad they used industrial grade zinc primer which if they dont sand it all the way off when they go to paint it, the paint will prob just lift off. retard assimport magazine didnt shave nuthin, just primed it for the "stealth" look. more like retard ricer look. my primer came from a gun
