There's no right or wrong way, every artist have different techniques and colors to use. that's why they all look different...
the basics for over a black base is normally white and follow'd by your choice of some candy yellows, oranges, then reds. sometimes a lil purple n blue never hurts either. normally finish it off with some white n black and your ready to rock...
