Has anyone thought about how much insurance would be for a 16 year old on that truck with a HEMI? I bet it is more than both my rides with a $120 deductable.

hey, with that said, i do have one thing to onfess that i forgot about, lol. (im givin you haters some fuel!) so long as i was able to keep my grades up (B-/C+ average), my dad said he would pay for my insurance while i was in high school. That takes a pretty good load off of my financial stuff, but the real deal in it is it keeps me motivated to stay in school and pass classes. now, in a year, when i get out of highschool, i will be taking that up on my back, but its not that much more than what i got goinon now. plus by then i should be done with any big or pricey mods on my truck and just workin on the '68 camero im lookin to buy.

it is damn nice to wake up in the morning and have your guys comments, thanks again. this website is pretty tight, lots of good stuff goin around in the threads.

if he hasn't had any wrecks or tickets about140-200 bucks untill his 21 then that shit will be like 60 bucks,lol

On the sound side, i have a berhenger 2500 watt amp (probably equal to about 5000 car audio watts.) dual loading cd, 8 line mixer, 16 line LSC lighting controler and yahama 15in cabnets. I have an overhead truss for lighting. Most of my lights are by american dj and some chauvet. I have about $3000 in lights and about $3000 also in audio gear. the CDs and vinyl i have accumulated over the years so those havent set me beca too bad. I buy alot off of itunes because the albums are $9.99. For my big jobs, i bring a laptop to look up requests and put them all in a list so i can remember them and know which album they are off of. djing is relatively easy, it aint a slacker job either.

im looking to get a dual 18" woofer cabnet by yamaha soon. My amp has more than enough power for that combo. the dual 18s were pretty cheap compared to everything else, i was suprised. they would be about $699. not too bad.

i definetly do not plan to do this as a future career, just while im in school.

Give the kid a break, I remember when I was 16 and got my silverado, granted it was used, but it still cost me 12 grand, then a stereo the next day.... i pulled off working 40 hours a week while in highschool and working on my truck... its just a matter of giving other stuff up... the trucks not exactly my cup of tea, with the doors and all, but to each their own... PS. I'm stealing your monitor idea for my car

i aint gonna hate on your ride, i hate when people do it to me.

but you deff need to bag that thing, i doubt those wheels will tuck, so new ones might be needed. and you need to find a way to do somethin with the rear doors. it looks weird with lambo front and nothin cool on the back (if you consider lambo cool)
