ive got AAA, my dads friend is out agent so he works out some sort of deal and i fit in just under $200 i believe.

I bet i know what "deal" they are doin! I bet that the truck itself is insured under your dads name but you are not on there as a driver. If you were there rates would be OUTRAGEOUS and i would be a LOT more than 200 bucks for you especially at 16!

lol we arent doing insurance fraud. my dads friend keeps up on the best deals through AAA and the company discounts apply if we have a certain amount of cars registered. also my dad has about 25 trucks registered for his company, im not sure but maybe i get in on that deal as well.

I talked to a guy at my work, his 16 year old son's insurance for an 85 Cherokee with liability only is about 120 a month, with no tickets. I was just wondering, not being a dick. I know how those father deals go I just pay my dad and I am not listed as a driver, so I pay about 140 for full coverage $120 dollar deductable on my 94 dime and 00 Maxima. I am 23 with 2 tickets and my insurance on my own was going to be around $400 a month. The best part is my insurance lady knows all about it and said their is no way to get in trouble, because I am a licensed driver.
