No, I dont need tutorials, I already know how to somewhat use photoshop, I just need to know where to find some nice pics to use in photoshop, how to do shading around the wheels, how to add a backround, and how to do the reflection thing. Thanks for your help though, -JW

the basics for rendering is at least knowing photoshop to a good extent, and then knowing how to apply it towards what you want to do. i recomend just playing around a lot and learning all the tools first and then going from there. because if your just doing tutorials, your not learning. i can tell u right now, 90% of them tutorials that teach you how to do "renderings", is not how i do em. you just have to develop your own ways of doing thing to either make a faster product, or a better quality product, or both. myself, i like to make them where they are COMPLETELY editable, i'm able to swap out, move around, and modify everything about my renderings by using layer masks, folders, and adjustment layers just to name a few. By the time i'm done with the average rendering i have well over a hundred and sometimes 200 layers in a file, all completly organized in there rightfull folders and easily changeable later on. So just keep practicing and learning the tools rather then learning specificly how to do renderings. and please, keep away from filters. only use em when they're need'd, don't over do it... have fun and keep us posted

and Ben, there is a reason we don't give away all our usefull pointers. because it took most of us a while to get good at what we do, and for me, a lot of money also. so before u make anymore lil comments like that, think about it. I've been doin graphic design for WAAAY to long to just give away all the nifty tricks and pointers to some new guy, i'm always willing to lend a hand, but i have limits....

oh ya, and on top of my novel already.... The original photo makes a BIG difference in the final outcome. i recomend getting a decent camera and going out and taking some high res photos or cars and trucks around town that are in good condition and don't have a lot of extras, just saves time from having to edit them out later on. and make sure they're at least clean with some good lighting... and yes, google is nice also
