That truck turned out nice!!!

There was an unfinished pic and article about this truck in Street Trucks a while back I believe and I think Bob Grant built it. I thought it looked better bare metal. The paint killed it for me! I hate when a truck looks killer before paint but then the paint job the owner chose chokes.

i think the paint job is kick ass for an old school truck. as for the other one it just looks hacked to me. potentially a sweet truck but it looks like shit the way they did it IMO. the wheels, the notch, the front fenders, the bed, whats left.....

seriously if its the same truck which its not they did a lot of modification. smaller wheels, sifferent grill, also look at the front of the doors closely. they molded the door to part of the window valence for less body lines. also the hoods are located/ open from different spots on the fender. ect....

THE ONE ON 26'S IS NOT A REAL CHEVY, ITS A BODY LAYED OVER AN F250 CHASSIS- IT WAS CAPTIONED IN A SHOW PIC IN A MAG AWILE BACK, just wanted to clear that up.

Is it just me guys or did they go to far with that truck

the way the guy explained it, at reso 04', was that it was the motor, trans and narrowed rear end out of a 03' ford f550. it had 2x8 tubing tacked to gether for a frame, and was very sketchy. It was over notched by nearly a foot. The front end was a modified I beam suspension similar to 80's ford f150. It sounded to me and my friends like he pulled an insurance job on a f550, used what he could from the truck, and bought the rims with the insurance check, and threw all of it into a 300 dollar c10.

The clear jug is the radiator overflow tank. It's the stock F-250/350/450/550 piece. Jon's right about the straight axle, too.

I saw the rims for sale on ebay a couple of weeks back. He's in Vegas. I saw it at Reso '04 too. I thought it was a good idea with the power stroke and everything, but the 26's? Come on! They just didn't fit. The notch could've fit tires for a rock krawler, too. Like 49's!Originally posted by mtmcalli

ok couple of questions:

1. what is the clear jug in front of the engine in the first pic and what's in it?

2. "the one im asking about is on 26's and has a powerstroke motor in it. I think it even had a straight axle in front."

how can you have a truck sittin that low with a powerstroke and a straight front axle? Did he notch the engine?
