well it seems that we arent gonna talk you out of the 305...so go ahead and waste your money on a POS motor. then waste your time on the fab work it takes to install the motor. Oh...then waste your time doing all wiring and fuel lines to get it running.
It sounds like you got your heart set on this motor so DO IT.

and besides you put a stock v8, regardless of brand, in a mini, and you arent gonna be able to put the power to the ground unless you do alot of other work.

wow I"m not going racing or anything!! I just like the sound and look of the V8 and its a carburated motor so all it is is a two wire system no problems!!

sorry if i came off rude i didnt mean it that way! the reason i was saying something about wasting your time is because the 305 isnt that good of a motor. If you want a v8 just get a 4 bolt main 350 and drop it in!

HEY A CHEVY 305 IS A GOOD SWAP I HAVE A BUILT 305 IN MY TACOMA JUST WATCH UR UPPER A ARMS DURING THE BD AND AS FAR AS THE SWAP I USED S10 HEADERS AND RAN MY STEERING THROUGH IT THE OTHER THING IS THE OIL PAN WHICH UR STEERING RACK MAY HIT SO CHECK ON A 302 FORD MOTOR THEY HAVE A FRONT SUMP AND THE DIST IS IN THE FRONT SO NO NEED TO MESS W/ THE FIREWALL UR TRANNY HUMP WILL HAVE TO BE WIDENED GOOD LUCK LUV DEM YOTAS ----DRIVEWAY KUSTOMS---

Not rude I guess well! Alright I have no money I just bought my first house and I am still trying to build my mini so I have no choise but to take good deals!!
