it sits like that and the belt tension is adjusted by pivoting the compressor off of the top mounting bolt and the bottom moves down that curved slot at the bottom.

ac is kept and its sits far enough away from the coil and under the ac lines.

i talked to the guy who has that one and he said the belt tension was loose and the belt flipped over. its fine now.

How thick should the plate be for these?

Hey man, could you possibly email me the cad file? Or the mastercam cutpaths? I don't know how big the mastercam file is, nver worked with it before. A guy I work with can get his friend to cut me anything I want. Thanks

i used .25" thick plate

as for the cad file find out what extension it has to be in...

.dwg,.dwx, etc.

This is still in the prototype phase and I might need to modify them a little more .

I will also take pics of the assembly as i put it together.

If you dont mind emailing the files I could use them too. I can accept autocad files, thanks eric@rath-usa.com

ill post em but if someone can host them online it would be cool. I post it as a dwg and dxf.
