there is nothing inside the cab, besides the computer that needs to be hooked up in order for the engine to run right??? cause i have the entire dash and everything out!

yes, the computer is on a seperate harness.

you rebuilt the carb? A vacuum leak will run lean, not rich. Make sure all the cylinders are firing (pull the spark plugs one by one and see if the engine runs worse).

Have you plugged the air tubes on the exhaust or are you just letting them fart out there while running? An EXHAUST leak can make the carb act strangely, you may plug those lines if you havent...

ya i rebuilt the carb, and i dunno about hitting all cylinders cause i pull the plug wire off 1 and 4 cylinders while running and it does not make a differene in engine sound or anything so i replaced plugs wires cap rotor, and i am getting great spark to those cylinders and i have decent compression about 145psi but still no progress its pumping so much fuel its leaking out of my exhaust mani gasket and running down the side of my block!!! and out the tail pipe! and the air tubes are plugged

Something is wrong with the carb, you shouldnt have that much gas coming out. My advice is to find one to borrow and try out.

come to tyhink of it, I have a stock carb and manifold from my truck before I converted to EFI. You are semi local, right? If you cant find one at a salvage I'll see about getting this one out to you.
