is $550 for a 6" flipkit with notch installed a good price?

i could do it all myself btu i dont have the tools required to cut the frame...or the space to work on it.

he said like $350~ for the kit and $200 for the install. looking online i could get the kit fro $310 from like truckperformance.com but ill throw a few extra bones to the shop if its a good price.

however my friends dad was a boilermaker, and said he has the tools to do it. so ill have to talk to him. just curious if $550 is good or not.

yea a flip kit takes like an hour to put on. maybe about 2/3 more to put the notch in.

they told me about $200 for the install.

said it would take 2 hours to do it all.

some other peopleon other forusm said they got quoted about the same for it. but im going to talk to my friend first, he might be able to do it for me.

whats it going on? For that much you can invest in a nice sawzall and a air compressor with one of their free tool deals. The other thing i would check is what brand of kit hes using because it could be an lAIM kit.

it would be a belltech kit.

my friend had a sawzall and he wore it out cutting his exhaust off....ill have to look some up.

i know my father has plenty of drill sto drill for a bolt in c-notch.

what kind of sawzall should i get? i notice a lo ton ebay for liek $60-70.

my dad has a 20 gallon air compresor in the garage

its going on the truck in the sig...yes..the 4wd one...yes i know its 4wd...yes i know its not 2wd...no i cant trade it in for a 2wd
