The spindles should fit the balljoints...you can probably take the tie rods from a newer truck and put them in yours so you can use the spindles.

i don't know how yours is set up, but here's my stock ones, next to the belltechs. the stock ones have the tierod end that is removable. there's 2 bolts that go through the dust shield, through the spindle & through the tie rod piece. the only thing you have to do when you use the belltechs is cut out a small part of the shield if you even choose to use it.

keep in mind that this is for an 88 which i know is the same from 84-94. as far as your 80, well the pics will have to tell you. good luck & hit me up again if there's anything else i can give useless answers on

Thanks for the pics man. You stock spindle looks pretty close to mine as far as I can tell, without having it apart yet. Here's the picture of mine.

Do my ball joint mount look the same as yours? I was looking at the ones from the mini truckin magazine, and the bolt pattern looks a lot different. And looks completely upside down?

everything looks the same except i don't think my lower ball joint has the 3 bolts near the front. mine only used the 2 outers near the front & the one at the back that yours appear to be an empty hole, but it looks the same other than that. post more pics once you get them all taken apart.

I'm not sure I'll take them apart if I don't get spindles. Probably just clean them up and paint them. I'm till not sure I'll be getting spindles. I'll see when I get the wheel up far enough if I like the camber, and if anything hits...

Does everyone elses ball joints point upwards like in that picture? Mine point down, and if I were to turn it over like that it would probably change a lot of steering geometry. So is that stock?
