This is what I understand as well. Apparently +40 is pretty close to the lip. I got +45, hopefully that will tuck in my 2WD fenders.

offset means absolutely nothing without knowing the width. If, for example, a +38 7 inch wide wheel tucked, a +38 8 inch wide wheel would not. Just a note, if you want to help people, include width with offset. So many mazda guys think a +40 20x8.5 will fit because someone said once "+40 will tuck". Well, +40 on a 7 inch wide wheel, yes, but +40 on an 8.5, you will chew fender. Lots.

I could have sworn I have heard of people with at the most a +35mm offset but I don't know how wide their wheels were. Does anyone else know for sure if these will tuck.

+35 will tuck atleast i know it will with 4x4 fenders. i duno about 2wd ones

your right i forgot to add the width of the wheel being 7.5 at the most so im told?
