Well I am puttingin my 4.3 and am not wanting to do 1 wheel peels. Is there a LSD outta another mazda (rx7)that would work or what about a locker. I don't want to weld it up. Did a quick search on google and found a few mentions of a rx7 one could anyone confirm this?ThanksJamie

rx7 is going to be an independant rear and will be alot more work than just swapping out rearends or gears.

I have read on a few sites now that a b2200 is quite common with a LSD I don't really belive this can anyone verify?. I know I can hook up both back wheels soemtimes but I am pretty sure it's not an LSD

You can use a first Gen rx7 rear end, it is a solid axle, not indy rearend, it has LSD and rear discs. I believe the GLS model uses the LSD and vented rear discs. Contact IH8bmps, Ryan, I helped him install one in his mazda

sorry, thats not his user name, I cant remember it, it is an extra cab mazda, blue with canopy, used to be in VC

First gen GSL or GSL-SE's would have solid rears, disk brakes, and clutch type LSD, but also would have 4x110 or 4x114.3mm bolt pattern.

I've never even heard of a mazda with LSD. I've owned about 15, and none have ever had one EXCEPT:

The 4x4 had a manual locking rear end, you pushed the button on the dash. I ssume it was a vacuum arrangement of some sort.

You are right, spinning both does not indicate having lsd. A good test is to jack up the truck so both rear wheels are off the ground. Turn one tire and watch the other. If they spin opposite, you have an open diff. If they spin the same way, its USUALLY an LSD. But I have never even heard of a limited slip option for the 2wd B series...
