I don't know i was just fn with him. Do they make rear bolt on shock tabs?

you should be able to angle the shock mount on the bottom a littel back and move teh cross bar in between the notches back a little too. Mine went on fine. But another s10 we bagged we had to do that.

the bridge bar/shock bar is weld on, as are all the axle tabs (including the shock mounts) and the stepnotches.

The truck we just did a 5 link on at the shop had a plastic tank. We test fitted the shock bar in a few different spots on the notch until we got it as best we could. Move 1/4"..tack...test..cut...repeat kinda thing. We got it as best we could, it kinda hits at MAX lift now, but just barely, and nobody drives around like a monster truck anyways.
I know people HAVE switched to the metal tanks. Try your luck on s10forum with this question and someone should be able to tell you what to do about your emissions.

thanks I have a thread on that forum also I am going to try and move the bar around and see what happens.

this is definetly not a bolt on kit as much as it says it is but say whatever this will be the last time I buy anything like this anyways it will be made from scratch from now on, but when you spend 1300 on something you expect it to work.

Its about 100X better then any of the other bolt on kits out there.

Thats for sure it has the kp beat hands down and the quality is unmatched. I am not knocking SD I just wish I didnt have this dumb ass gas tank.

the kit is not 100% bolt on. you still need to weld tabs on axle etc, so welding the shock tabs shouldnt be too much more.

do you ahve pics of your notch setup? that would help in giving you tips on how to run it. i have the 3 link and ended up running a bar across the notch and weld tabs to it angled up. it barely hits the tank only when completly lifted up. and thats on 22's and i dont drive it with that much psi so it never hits tank.
