Hey here is a rough diagram.
if you want to use the starter kill output you will need a timer module that has the relay built in and thats another story. I would use aux outputs (see below why) . most aux outputs put out a pulse meaning that it turns on for a second then turns off no matter how long you hold down the button on the remote (not all but you may want to check the manual will say constant or pulsed). If your air is fast it may take less than a second so that could be ok. If your running 1/4 inch lines like me it seems to take half a day and one second gives me about 3 inches of lift.
a 6 amp diode sould be ok

IMPORTANT IMPORTANT I
also i would be EXTREMELY carefull when doing this it may seem cool to lay your car when you arm the alarm, but if you accidenty hit the button at the wrong time it could mean a lost toe, dead cat, crushed rocker, killed person. so if ya must do it anyway I wouldget an alarm with 2 addl outputs that use a combination of buttons or a delay to activate the output.
Most shops will not touch this. I know when I had my business I would never do this for strangers!
hope that helps.
I cant attach photo so I emailed it to ya

just need a relay that will shoot a possitive to your silonoid when you arm it use armed output wire to activate relay

might be ahrd though becuase armed out put
is only for a second or two so all your air might not go out so you might have to find some way to latch the relay for like five seconds

wow glb7272, thanks for correcting me. You are right you would need to use a timer... the way I posted would leave the dump valves copen the whole time the alarm was armed...in time killing the batts. sorry for the miss direction. and also thanks for posting the disclaimer!!!
What shop do you work at glb in macon, info like that would only come from a fellow installer

go to the12volt.com. they have a ton of diagrams. i made a front, back, and side to side remote system with the extra channels on a SPAL popper kit unit from the diagrams on there. any alarm with aux. outputs can lift a car just as long as you use relays. i prefer to use two relays instead of using diodes to isolate circuits like this. just my two cents. good luck.

I am temporarily retired at the moment stayin home to raise my kid and rennovate my house.I came frome phoenix where I had a business installing audio video security for new car dealers (You think its a pain to buy a car you cant imagine the s*** you do to keep them happy) but it was no real custom work and you could bang out a nice profit at the end of the day.
Now I can actually stand working on my own cars, If you were like me I hated coming home to work on my own stuff after working on customers cars ( I bet every bodyman painter can attest to that one.
Kenny Z you are probably right on the relays vs diodes I would probably run the relays right after the switches (use the realy instead of the switch to send power to the valves) and use ground through the switch box to activate them so all you have to do on the alarm is wire up to the relay with diodes that would be the most flexible way I could think of.

Yeah, be careful. I had a pressure switch go out on me one day, I played with the bags a little and realized the compressors werent kickin on. I then went into a store and armed the truck not thinking, and it layed out. I then could barely get it back up to drive home. I ended up having to climb under it and jump the pressure switch across to kick the comp on, then when I got full lift, pulled the fuse and drove it home. It can happen.

What I did after that was bought a better alarm with alot of open channels so that I can raise and lower the truck, but not with the alarm, catch my drift?? I use my aux button to raise the truck, the two top buttons to turn my compressors off and on, the two bottom to start the truck, and hold unlock for 3 seconds to lower it. Works great!! I also had to use some diodes and I think a relay, cannot remember. I did it about a year ago!!

thanks again for all the responses... i got to thinking this weekend of another way to possibly make this work.. and mabye this was something some of you already mentioned... but if i bought an alarm/security system that inclueded keyless entry... couldnt i just splice a wire off of my power door lock wire...to run to a relay and then to the air valves... cause when i armed the alarm the door locks would recieve voltage and if i had a wire tapped off that wouldnt that trigger the valves? (im just talking about dumping the vavles not lifting) thanks guys...

Ive said that too many times!!!!!! Its so true!!!!!!!

Yes it can be done but you will have to isolate the door locks so that when you hit the button on the car it does not drop also It would be a good idea to keep this from working while the car is running most alarms also have a feature that auto locks the doors when it sees a key. Like I said before is a second long pulse enough to lay the car out?

Also if you have factory keyless it could be done with that as long as you disable the drop when the keys in the ignition or switched on. I would say get the keyless in then im me and I will rough out another diagram.
Dwight If you car isnt painted I would assume your good at what ya do and dont have anytime for anthig else besides work. Cool corvair I love rides that are not the norm 6 cylinder air cooled rear moter got to love that
