We put an R&B obsolete front clip on the SNOW SLED PROJECT that accepts s10 front suspension parts. This is a slick setup!! It went in great. Our truck was a 1957 chevy 1 ton and the clip was engineered for a 1/2 ton. This is the same chassis style in your apache. We z'd the original chassis down to meet the new clip. We are running 22x10 wheels up front and laying frame with this setup. Go to my profile and website for more pics. Give me a call at the shop if you have any questions.JOHN@CCC

The panel truck we got is a 1ton LONG panel i dont think the s10 frame would work.

I checked out rbobsolete's site. After looking at their kit I think I may just take the front crossmember/a-frame setup out of a 84 caprice we have down here and weld it onto my 58 frame. Instead of cutting my frame just in front of the cab, ill just fab in the suspension around the current frame.
