no because theres 2 prongs coming off the button.. so if i hook it up, and press the button it doesnt ground it out or do anything. maybe i could run a new wire off that 2nd prong, but i dunno.. havent taken the wheel off since i put it on, dunno if theres another spot to run a wire through the column on the spinning contact type assembly that the other hot wire runs through

in the steering column, there is only one wire for the horn. when it gets a ground(- pulse) it triggers a relay under the dash(thats the clicking sound you heard). from that relay one wire goes out to the header panel just behind the headlights. it will now have positve energy when the horn button is pressed. find that wire.

i know on my grant wheel on my yota there is 1 wire from the adapter to the horn button and my horn button has 2 prongs on it. It makes it contact thru a small metal plate that comes with the horn button or the wheel when you buy them new.

I can take a pic if you want me to ricky.

Ok thanks guys.. I was thinking id need to use both prongs. I'll see if the snap in horn button is already grounded to the metal ring and pressing it triggers it. if not, ill run a small wire from the 2nd prong to one of the small bolts inside the horn hole.

milk b - it will be one single wire? i just need a 2nd hand helping me find it..lol. noone was around earlier.

Tim - PM me your address
