I've used the Monroe solid blue shocks from Napa before. You can go there with the compressed and maxed length dimensions and look at their book to see what fits. Lately, we've been using the Pete & Jake's rod shocks and they've riden pretty nice. They come in two different lengths and come painted or chrome.

Where/how would you mount this lone ranger of a shock? Also, what would you suggest?

we use the shocks for a 86 monte carlo. they seen to have a decent amount of travel and lay out nicely. i actually have some monroe air shocks that i leave empty and they get a ton of lift and give a nice ride quality.
