the shelf life for resin is "usually" 6 months from manufacture. if you can get your hands on some uv lamps and can get the pieces somewhere to let the lamps heat up your work you should be able to save it. you just need to get the resin under constant uv heat for a while. i've had this happen to me a couple times and it's frustrating but it should eventually harden. if it doesnt seem like it will cure after a day or so you may have to scrap it. good luck
I guess I should have molded my side skirts during the summer huh... thanks guys I'ma brain storm and work something out here..... appreciate your alls help
I've had gallons of resin for years and it still works. I wonder if I should be concerned about the shelf life. I used some just today and it seems to be fine?
I've used resin thats been opened and has sat on the shelf for a while with no problems too, I'd try to get it warmer too, it being 50 degrees max is gonna be hard to tackle with anything that got to work with temp.
well it might be all in the conditions at which its stored in. In my case it was in my garage so it dropped bellow freezing. I Bought a brand new can and it turned out great... I took a grinder to that tacky crap and layed some nice layers down.... thanks guys
